Default Flywheel Tooth Count

Any ideas/suggestions on how best to get this information? I have a 65, 289. toploader. The starter is out... What is the easiest and most effective way to get this info? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Should be 157 tooth. But to verify you can mark a tooth and count as you have someone else spin the motor with a 15/16" socket on the balancer bolt. That would be a royal pain and you'd likely miss one or more.

TexasAxMan: You nailed it. Besides getting my 18 yr old daughter trained and PATIENT enough to roll the motor, all went well. Took the plugs out to make it easier to turn..... 157 tooth, and the flywheel is about 3/4" from the plate....
