Yeah its from factory 5. He's got a beautiful glass body but he's already talkin about buying a one piece aluminum body for it. Those run about 10 to 12 thousand. I know he's got almost 10 into the motor alone

my boss is giving the owner a hard time about those valve covers, im guessing we re going to end up changing them

 

I love there daytona coupe one day i will buy one and start the fun of building it.

 

Yeah I don't like the valve covers too much, but love it otherwise. Its going to be an amazing car!

 

What is the black car in the garage? Looks like an early 50's style Mercury. My brother wants to do a Factory Five kit as well but he's looking at their "supercar" kit.

 

Yeah man you got it, the black car is a 50 merc. It was gona be around 6 thousand to rebuild the flathead so he wanted us to put a chevy 350 in it. I wouldn't have done that but its his car..

 

I have dreamt of a Factory Five Cobra for a long time. Keep the pics coming! I would love to see this thing finished.

 

tip for the dash drill the holes before you put the cover on that way you can wrap the cover over the frame.the one i did i was thinking the body would cover it but it don't i can see 2 of the rivets on this one we did.good luck they are fun to do till paint
