when I click on my usual link to get here I get a "content encoding error" I get this message........I had to go thru google to the home page and then here.

This is the error message:

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. * Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

sounds like its on your end.

Have you noticed any other pages acting funny or pages showing up that you didnt expect to see?

if using internet explorer try disabling http 1.1. the only comprssion i could think of is part of http 1.1. webserver sends website compressed for browser to decompress and save bandwidth

No other pages act this way, I had to do it again to get here, I am using firefox. I am on vacation now and in my RV using an "open network" but it has always worked fine here up until yesterday afternoon.
