Idk where my spare is when my dad moved away he musta took it because i had all the original wheels still. that's the cover for the tire, but there's actually jus tools in that bag.

that tach is nice, is that a rally pac? it looks exactly like the one that comes with the rally pac.

all my interior needs is some new red upholstery, new red door panels, new carpet, and a headliner and it will look fresh. oh yeah and maybe some of those nice seatbelts, some floormats and some new armrests. the entire dash area is in great condition... i guess i jus named everything besides the dash hahaha.
I can't wait to see the interior all freshened up. Its nice that it doesn't cost alot to do that. My friend had a white 66 with red interior in highschool. That really is a cool combination.

I really like the console. Driving a manual steering car that is also a 3 speed, made having a drink a bit tricky.

The tach I got from JCW for 35 dollars. Its made by Make Waves Instruments. It says Super Pro on it. I thought it resembled the rally pac too. Thats why I thought it was cool. Here it is

35 bucks??!! man thats so cheap! does it already come camera case black??
If i had more money, and didnt have mine already, i'd be all over that!
when i was working for the mustang shop, I had to open a store for used parts.. so i went around and collected about 10 years worth of used **** out of 3 giant bays... so i got first dibs on everything

In fact, i went out and bought a tach a few weeks before i found this one... it was some sunpro autozone piece of crap, then i found this autogauge or autometer one restored it.

I got new pictures of what i've done so far with my interior...
I had my door panels painted black, yesterday i took some paint thinner and SOS pads to em and they turned out not half bad. I also painted the back panels black again, then glossed over them... which i'm soon to do to the actual doors themselves. they turned out great and my interior isn't near as much as an eye sore anymore... here's some pictures:

that's exactly what it's gonna look like, just more fresh!

you can see the difference between the back panels and the doors, the doors got ruined because i didnt gloss them... woulda taken care of that today but i didnt have enough for another can of black and clear.

i steam cleaned my carpet today and vacuumed the **** out of it, it's looking new again.

Also, i nee some opinions!
I'm gonna get new carpet again... should i go with red or black?
and I have Brand new red kick panels sitting in my garage... Red or black on those?

I think with the carpet, I want to go with black so you cant see all the stains and what not... but if i was gonna do that, I would just dye it! which might actually be kinda cool considering the built in floor mat would stay red. I mean, if i was gonna get new carpet, I might as well dye this black to atleast see what it would look like... and if i like it, it will look brand new and i would save myself a lot of money. and if i dont, then who cares i was gonna get new carpet anyways...

haha i think i jus answered my own ?.

whatever, i'll have pics of it up, red and black. and pics of both combinations with the kick panels also and you guys can tell me what would look best.

You can count on it. The key is to let him do as much of the work as possible and also pay for the parts he can afford. I know when mine was done I treated it like gold and if anyone even thought about drinking or smoking in it they got an earful. As for the jealousy thing, I don't blame you. My dad "borrowed" my car more than a couple times and I know he really enjoyed driving it, funny part is the tires always seemed to wear faster when he drove it?? haha

Yeah, the tach comes just as it looks. The only thing is that it lights up clear, so I made it light up green.

I wouldn't dye the carpet. I have seen numerous times where it fades quickly.

I'm not sure I like the idea of mixed interior. Why not just make it all red again?
