Default Coolant recovery bottle

I use wind shield washer jug for coolant recovery on 66 GMC truck; works great.

67 must washer bottle is functional and not sure how well antifreeze will smear wind shield. Not so much room for the flashy SS recovery tank. Looking for a discreet recovery bottle. Could be hid below batt, behind front valence, etc.

Any one got a creative idea for coolant recovery bottle on 65-67 mustang?

I picked up a small one at Kragen that fit discretely down on the right side close to the radiator where the original one was. $8.

I like the currently available aluminum tube that attaches to one side of the radiator. Still, these top-tank radiators were intended to run without them. No 64-73 Mustang had an overflow tank.

I have a stainless steel tube recovery tank on the 66. It was 25 dollars on Ebay. It does "standout" in the engine compartment.

I've been watching those on ebay.

Is the cap SS?
Quality pretty good?
Remember store name?

Here is where I bought mine:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-X-1...Q5fAccessories

Edit: This store link will help for sizes they sell and is not time sensitive for "time left to buy".

It is high quality and has an aluminum cap with an O ring seal. The seller was quick too. I bought the 17 x2 inch model but they come in different sizes. I plan on getting another one and doing away with the windshield washer bag.

Do you know distance between mounting tab holes on 17" over flow tank?

How far is mounting tab from top of cap?

Best I can tell from picture flexalite makes a 19 x 28 radiator w/ a 13 x 2 overflow tank; guess no issues w/ 13" capacity.

Would be nice if I could get a 13 x 2 overflow tank w/ 10.5" mounting tabs for 65 stang.

67 stang would be happy w/ mounting bracket close to tank top.
