Looks to be the casting number on the later 80's models, or early 90's... is there a tag anywhere on the transmission?

C=1960
D=1970
E=1980
so E9 is 1989. as Noreins said, it's a model from 1989 that could have been used in early 90s as well
I've googled for the number and I find hits like 1992 F-150, 1992 Crown Vic etc

Any other numbers on the trans?
