Default wheels for 68

Hi,

I havent posted here for a long time. I got my 68 running pretty well and started restoring a 72 vette. Now I am back to spend a little more money on the mustang. I am looking at these wheels.

I just wanted to make sure that these fit. I checked the dodgestang chart and a 15x7 with 4.5 BS should fit but I have found this wheel with three different offsets and I wanted to make sure I get the right one. This one pictured is a +13mm offset. I have seen the 15x7 with a 4.5 backspace with more than one offset so I just have to be sure.

Thanks

I think you should check again I don't know anyone who says a 15x7 with 4.5 backspacing fits. You will run into the upper arm.

Gotta say, I don't like the look of those rims, but it's your car.

that is one of the ugliest wheels you can put on any car. you would be better off just popping off the wheel covers and shooting the stock wheels with a can of silver paint.

Those wheels look alright. My friend had some similar but were the smooth non riveted wagon wheels in chrome. I had the ones with the round holes and rivets called nuggets back in high school. They were chrome nugget wheels with the black insert and looked pretty sweet. I don't think they make them anymore though. I like them on my car because it has black interior and is dark blue. With some of the other color combinations, they may not looks so great. I like these other two choices better though.

OP - I think you want the 3305712, which has 3.75" backspacing.

I suspect that the 'P' in 3305712P refers to it being a positive offset version of the same design and intended for cars that came OE with up to around +20mm offset wheels.

I bought the vintage 48's from Summit. I like the way they look on my car but they're cheaply made. I had to return two [out of a total of four] back because they were warped. The backs of the rims showed gross welding and extra blocks of metal to keep the rims together. They were also a bitch to balance.

I will be looking for a better quality wheel soon.
