Default Autolite 2100 leaks

I'm having difficulty with my autolite 2100. It seems that every 6 months I have to rebuild the thing because it develops leaks. Almost always it starts at the accelerator pump and the needle seal. After each rebuild its fine for about 6 more months. I dobt drive the car that often. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm beginning to think it's ethanol in the gas drying out the seals. Or maybe just cheap rebuild kits. I've bought them at carquest and advance auto. The outside box is different but the inner contents is always the same. Is there a better brand that I can buy? Maybe the motorcraft brand?

I have noticed that the newer fuel will dry out the accelerator pumps faster that they used to, this goes for Holleys as well. I drive my cars (7) more often now because letting them sit seems to make the problem worse.
