Default heater motor wheel

well now that i have the information i need to replace my heater core from this site i figured i would go ahead and replace my blower motor, seeing as its as big a job to replace it later if it fails, and it will be out. i can find a new motor easy enough but when it comes to the wheel, well thats another story. ive taken a few of these wheels off, with a little coaxing, but worse case is that i wont be able to get this one off and figured id buy a new one, a lot easier that way. i cant seem to find one that fits my car, at least a sure size one.

You're gonna have to try, because the replacements are not available with the mounting plate and wheel already attached. You have to get the wheel off to swap the mounting plate.

Your replacement motor had a correct 69-70 heater mounting plate? Where'd you get it?

Looks like the factory AC motor. You got AC?

oh yeah. and i have the vents in the dash and the center controls have the ac on them. now my motor sticks out facing the driver and, like i said, is longer and doesnt have the vent in it. my motor matches the motor for non ac cars.

if i understand it the motor with the vent tube helps keep the motor cool. then i wonder why mine doesnt have it. my motor looks factory.
