Whenever I saw that he posted I knew there would be a reassuring normalcy.
Sad news.

Soaring was awesome. That man loved the mustang so much he hated seeing poeple like me cut them up. That guy knew every measurement of our cars with out having to go and measure. He helped me on many occassions

I too got the email of his passing. Having lived near him, we met in person several times. I would not call us friends, but he was certainly influential and developing my love for old cars. He was a very nice guy who loved Mustangs. Yes he was passionate about them and sometimes ruffled some feathers, but like most of us on these forums, he loved the hobby. I for one will miss him.

It appears he had a passion for Music and Mustangs. I'm sure he was as exacting in both endeavors, hence his broad knowledge and championships.

Rest in Peace Soaring, and deep condolences to his family and friends.

Yes, and as I find out now quite successful as a band director with state championships and overseas band directing experience in his professional resume.

His encyclopedic knowledge of the early Mustangs - and the stubborn insistences - are the things that I will remember him by. He deserved respect for both traits, and always had mine even when our points of view were widely disparate.

RIP, Glen

rmodel65 - thanks for posting this.

Man....that really sucks to hear. Soaring and I spoke many times when I first started out on this site. It seemed there wasn't a thing he didn't know about Mustangs. He had his disagreements with people (who hasn't?) but it was because of his incredible love for these cars. He will be missed dearly.

Rest in peace.
