RIP Soaring :(
When I first came to this site I immediately got under Glen's skin about a 6 to 8 conversion, (it seems like the first thing I do on every section I visit here is to **** off the mod... lol) but by the time Glen left the forum he and I got along pretty well in spite of my "non concurs" thinking.
I have often thought about Glen over the past years and I am saddened to learn about his passing.
I was always going to start posting on his site but it seems I never got around to it. So often we make the mistake of assuming there is plenty of time to do things, but so often this is just not the case.
Glen was both brilliant and very human, having both a "friendly" side and a somewhat "passionate" side. Over the couple years or so we were both posting here I learned to take the "cantankerous Glen" with a grain of salt and came to admire the man, his knowledge, and his willingness to help his fellow Mustang brethren.
No doubt Glen had a vision of what he wanted the Classic section here to be, and this vision was not always shared by more than a few posters. This did translate into friction..... but fact is, whether a person loved him or not, few will disagree that he will be remembered for as long as there are people who have met him (in person and online) still living.
God's Speed Glen, you are, and will be missed.
Salutations my friend...

My thoughts go out to Glen's family. 67 is way too young!! Reading the guestbook entries at the funeral home (thanks for the link Rmodel), it is clear that he had a profound impact on many of his students' lives.
Glen's approach as moderator on this board certainly made for some interesting moments, however, his passion for Mustangs was undeniable. Without question, it was never dull when he posted.
