1967 Ford T5
Hello everyone,
I'm posting about my T5 that was given to me by my uncle several years ago. I haven't been able to find all that much info about it. Does anyone know how rare they are? The car needs a lot of work. I'm considering selling it. I'm 25 years old, active duty Marines. I'm getting out in a few years to go back to school and I don't foresee having the time, money, or setup to restore it anytime soon.
Cheers

Military backgound is a common thread for these cars, as they are Mustangs sold in West Germany, where Ford was unable to use the "Mustang" nameplate. These cars were never sold here, so any T5 you see was purchased in West Germany, and brought back in a move. Pretty scarce even Germany. There was a red 66 T5 GT where I was stationed one time. Had the GT badge, plain stripe with no lettering, and the bare steering wheel and gas cap.
Found this facte on the Ford T5 Registry:
One of the most often asked questions about the T5s is “how much is it worth?” The general consensus is a T5 should command a premium of about 10% to 15% more than a standard Mustang for model years 1965 and 1966. This premium is about 5% to 10% in later years.
