anything that fits really, spark plugs dont really alter the performance. just make sure you measure the spacing with spark plug spacer and space it correctly.

i asume you are buying from a local place, they usually can look up the correct spark plug for your car, i know i used autolite ones in my v8 cant remember the exact type, also ask them for a spark plug spacer you WILL need it. for a 66 200 6 cylinder the spacing should be .032 to .036 inches

Any brand plug is good.

66 mustang I-200 stock engine:

plug type = BF-82
gap = 0.034"
timing manual= 6* before tdc
timing auto = 12* before tdc
power=120 HP
source=chiltons

has worked for me for too many years.

The BF-82 designation isn't used anymore but it is a hotter plug then is used in the V8s. You need an 18 mm, tapered seat plug that is at least one heat range hotter than the stock V8 plug. Autolite has an interchange-application chart that will tell you the right plug - and IT DOES matter which one you use. A plug that is too cold will foul out quickly and one that is too hot will cause detonation.

when i said it doesnt matter i meant brand, obviously you would need to use the one for your car. again most auto parts shops can look up the correct plug in seconds.

Me also.

I said any brand is good.
I didn't say to use any heat range.

I've never been to an auto parts store that couldn't cross reference motorcraft (autolite) BF-82.
