comes back as: Ford 1987 Mustang/Capri 2.3 L4 EFI WC

well you could totally rebuild that one like I did and be in it for about 800 assuming it needs it. 800 for salvage t5 is total BS.

That said if you are in it to win it and dont want to mess around modern driveline has a Ford Mortorport t5 with .63od and 330 ftlbs rating. for 1300...thats totally a better deal than some POS salvage nwc t5 from who knows what.

I got mine from modern driveline its probably not the cheapest route but it comes with a support team and parts of top notch quality.

Other wise you have to switch the input bearing and i dont think anyone knows what year or car you have to get the pilot out of. Shop around they can be had for cheap i picked mine up for $150 with 1k miles on rebuild with bell housing, and fork.

no you dont change the input shaft the gear on the end is different....you just use a different pilot bearing

a 4 banger t5 should be around 150-200$ you can buy a 4 cylinder car for just a few hundred bucks...
