I am using the sbc set up. I thought it was reasonably priced, and it was easy to install.

Yes indeed, the SSBC conversion is a excellent setup, a couple hundred higher than the cheaper made brakes, but well worth in quality differences.

What's wrong with the brakes you have? I have the factory KH brakes on my car and I don't see any need to upgrade them. There's definitely no shortage in stopping power.

I stand corrected Star. I Mis read the question.

Yes if the present Disc Brakes are Factory K/H, then they are GREAT brakes.

To Change to a "Foreign" system is not a wise idea to gain braking, he already has them.

Update to new specs, Cruise.

Thanks for see that Star.

one of my brake calipers is staring to stick so, I guess I figured rather than replacing it or rebuilding, I'd just upgrade to a 2 piston caliper or something..

The only upgrades i know take a 17 inch rim are you willing to buy new rims?Cheapest would be to rebuild the brakes you have now.If you have the 4 piston calipers there's not much of a upgrade tell you get in to the bigger brakes that take a 17 inch rim to clear.

Exactly. A 2 piston caliper is a downgrade from the OE 4-piston disc brakes. Rebuild kits are available for your calipers and will cost you a fraction of what you're considering spending.
