I did some research and it seems there was a high Performance option.


1. 64.5 had unique engines: 5 Bolt V8's - 260 2V (F Code), 289 4V Low Compression (D Code) and 289 4V High Performance (K Code with Aluminum Water Pump), 6 cylinder - 170 (U Code).

OK my memory is a lil fuzzy.
the GT option was not avail in 64.5.
is that a bit more accurate?

Yeah, I think you're right about the GT thing. Now I just need to find some pictures to accompany the cars.

i should have pics of the road draft.
recently lost my two backup disks and hard drive but should have an older disc.
the generator, horns, carb, etc. I've seen online.
my car has carb spacer w/ undrilled pcv port nipple.

i'm not getting off to a good start however.
been a while since i was looking into 64.5 parts.

I have a question, are these photos accurate? The car has a "GT" stripe on the side, was that a 64 1/2 option?
