white smoke?

I had a similar problem once. at idle or sitting still everything was fine. but i had a cloud behind me as i drove, and hard acceleration made a big cloud. I found I had a small oil leak develop at the rear intake manifold seal to the block. and since you said the motor only has 2,000 miles on it could it be something like that.

LOL just got back from the Gas station and remebred this thread.
there was this car, looked early 90's didnt notice the make/model but HOLY **** that thing was fumigating the neighborhood soooooo much smoke, it covered the entire gas station smelled like the whole car was burning.
