Default 66 c4 fluid leaks BAD!

I jacked up the car and took off the cover on the lower front of the transmission. Put 2 quarts of fluid in it started the engine to see where it was coming from as it appeared to be in this area. Fluid was gushing out from behind the flywheel. I could see the drain for the converter and it was dry.
Could it be the seal for the front pump or the converter housing? Everywhere else on the outside of the transmission looked dry(no leaks). Just dripping at the bottom of the housing. Thanks for any info!

With out dropping it out and actually checking its hard to say!

It could be a few things, front tranny seal, front pump seal, worn neck on the converter, I have even come across front pumps that the bolts had come loose. Of course worst case a crack somewhere but not likely!

If any fo the about that I first talked about, they are all easy fixes and you can do them yourself in very little time. Pull it out in the morning, pick up your parts and back in in the afternoon!

Good luck and enjoy, no cursing!
