original concourse filter or?
A year ago I bought 5 boxes of parts from a guy who restored several mustangs (from craigslist an incredible deal!) I just went through them again and noticed that two of the oil filters I have, new in the box, don't look the same as mine. They are motorcraft FL-1A. Same color and size as the one I have on my car, but the box and the filters themselves say "D9AZ-6731-A Designed, Engineered and Recommended by Ford Motor Company". and then "Ford Motor Company" in a larger script font.
Mine just has "Motorcraft FL-1A". I know the code "D9AZ" stands for 1968 Mustang.
Are these older, Original OEM parts? Would someone building a concourse car want these compared to the modern ones? I have looked in all the catalogs and they all have the rotunda filters or the same modern FL-1A that I use, none show the mustang part No. or have ford printed on them, so I don't think they are reproductions of the originals.
Thanks for any info.

Went from memory... Z is not always mustangs ... date was off a decade, didn't even think about teh first digit. but I don't see "Full size" as the 3rd digit... at least not on all the charts I have just checked....
