What's the redline on a 347?

Probably between 6,000-7,000 rpm. Lots of variables depending on your engine specs and whatnot. Probably want to Dyno it to find out for sure.

I used to turn mine to 7200 before the turbo. My buddy turns his to 7800, so it depends on your build.

Run it until it quits pulling, and then place the redline a few hundred rpm's below that to compensate for clutch time.

Depends on how it's built. Anywhere from around 4,500rpm to 10,000rpm.

What crank/rods/pistons and what lifters/pushrods/rockers/springs? And what block?

What cam do you have? You want to set the red line where your engine makes peak power.

Provided it holds together, but sometimes a bit after peak power.

+1.....Like stated it depends on the valve train and the componants in the bottom end to how high you can physically rev it before it grenades itself..How well the engine breathes will determine where it stops making power..
