Note to self:

You should have let us know you were having wiring problems. I would have suggested more liquor. After all, we're all here to help each other.

when i replaced all the gauges this weekend the fuel gauge was not working, when i originally rewired the car and used new connectors for the dash for easy removal i missed 1 pin and put in the wrong spot in the plastic connector. All is good now, i is a happy camper.
OH i did reach out to the group but my volt meter skills suck.

I was just thinking about the T-5, do you have a wiring diagram for the back up light sending unit? I originally had a 3 speed which only uses 2 wires, my T-5 has 4 wires. I assume 2 are ground and 2 are got but dont know which ones, there all black in color.

I only had 2 for backup light, small bolts on the side of the tranny. It can be hooked up either way, it's just a switch on or off.
If the other 2 are coming from the top, those are neutral safety switch. Again, hook them up either way.
