Default 460

If you're not keeping the factory heads is there a big diff in what year block is better or stronger for a street rebuild?

Preferably one for a roller cam, like out of a later EFI truck. As far as strength, you're not going to make enough power in a street car to break a 460 block.

If you are planning a stroker with more that a 4.3 arm then a D9 block is preferred due to slightly longer cylinder bores. Other than that there is no substantial difference.
