Default Back from Paint!!

Hi all,

I wanted to share an awesome experience I had with a classic restoration shop. Before it went in, my 68 looked decent, it had a junky Macco paint job, rusted out cowel that leaked etc.... This local hot rod shop, TNT Hotrods, was awesome. They charged $40 per hour, and no markup on materials. They even picked up and delivered my mustang at no charge. The owner, Bob Tenaglia, took just under 200 photos of the car, sending me weekly updates, documenting the entire process. Tons of hidden rust and rot was uncovered cut out an replaces the right way. Their work is awesome. I'm pumped to have the car back and can't wait to get driving it.

Here's the link to the restoration of my car:

Again, I can't say enough good things about this shop. I've heard so many horror story's about body shops, and thought I'd share a good experience for a change.

Thanks- yeah, it's feels good to have the rust and rot taken care of.

It's rained for the past 6 days here in Boston, looking forward to some sunny warm weather. I'm dying to get out and drive it.

Send that rain down here to Houston, we could certainly use it.

The quarters I bought didn't have the indent for them. I personally like it better without them, so it worked out well.

I dont like shops that charge by the hour since they milk the job. I like straight up flat prices, take it or leave it so theres no surprises.

What was the cost of the paint job and how many hours did they charge you for?

Wow, looks like they did a great job! Glad to see a nice shop out there!
And $40 an hour doesn't sound too bad from a professional shop.
