ok iv got a 67 coupe and swaping a 302 into it here is where i need help.

1. engine is a 89 gt 302 block,heads only
2. tranny is a 98 5 speed

i need to no if i can use the regular heads with the build bc im wanting to go carb with it not efi. if i want to upgrade the cam, pistons and what not are they only guna have to be for 89 or can i use 67 parts. the 98 tranny is it a t5 or not bc i need to no if i can buy the t5 convertion or if im screwed.

i wana do a twin turbo blow threw carb build. would i be able to just buy a rebuild kit for it and push a couple psi or would i need to upgrade the pistons. the drive shaft iv found 50in shafts but i dont no if thats the right size for the 67's.

 

dont believe the 98 tranny is gonna work for you....at the very min you will need a 302 style bell housing because the modular motors use something different but the v6 is similar to the 302 setup..... whats it from??

as for the heads you can use them for a carbed setup...
