Long story short I was looking for seat for my 67 and found a fellow in a different state that had some (freaking craigslist, like jacksonville, nc is anywhere close to Bedford, VA). Got to talkin to the guy and turns out he has a little mustang farm/scrap yard whatever have you and I see on the list he emails me that he has a 1967 Playboy Pink Coupe with black Interior with a 289 and a Marti Report.

My question is there anything special about it, other then it being a special paint code.
I guess what Im really asking is it more rare or more valuable then lets say a Brittany Blue 289 Coupe?

Im waiting on pictures of the car and marti report. He said he has the orginal drive tran from the car with it and he only wants $2500. What is yalls thoughts.

If it's in running condition it's probably worth that.

 

The playboy pink could be worth some money. But remember if you buy it you are going to have to spend some money on paint to get rid of that awful color

 

Make a Playboy themed interior, the Playboy bunny head embroidered on the seat etc, bunny on front tags, I bet the chicks would love to pose in it for you. Tell them you're scouting for future talent with your camera.

Documented and all the serial numbers, buck tag, Marti Report, and original door tag are there. The engine turns over and fired up a couple years ago. Original drivetrain. I will include the following parts with the car. Complete / correct interior , front fenders and headlight buckets, and front valance. The doesn't look like Playboy Pink to me. In the condition that car is in, I doubt it is worth more than 800-900 bucks.

 

Yeah 500 to 800 is all its worth the way its sitting.

Obviously not playboy pink. The car certainly could have seen a repaint, check the VIN first before making a decision. If it says it was playboy pink, then it's worth a little more I guess. Still not worth $2500 IMO.

 

I'm looking at the side of the cowl, and it looks pink to me. Of course, most of the "pink" 67's I have seen weren't PP, which is VERY rare, were actually Dusk Rose, which is also pretty rare.
