And with that I guess you just lumped yourself into RatFink's category of zero tolerance for others, which is ironic in that it's what you are trying to profess.

I don't care if you like my car(s) or not. I don't think in all of my posts I have ever criticized anyone's cars or choices. It's not my money, nor do I have to live with it.

I have Mustangs because I enjoy them. Simple as that. I enjoy working on them, driving them and seeing what others do to theirs. I don't look down my nose at any others.

My subject line, although simple, achieved what I wanted. I can write with the best of them when warranted.

So now you have turned this thread into me against you and that's sad. I always thought for the most part you weren't that type, but I guess I was wrong. I didn't seem to attack you or anything other than seeing the point in joking about a grill and how ironic it was that RatFink didn't my humor.

AND for the record I accused him of responding in a 7th grade mindset, not his grammar or typing. Others brought that up.

I think its time for a group hug then a lock and ban. This thread has pushed the limit.

Once you insult another mans hood scoop the gloves come off and things just get NASTY!

(going to the scoop was a low blow)

I like scootchu's cars. I think the scoop makes it look "old school."

I don't like the grill posted, but I thought the refrigerator thing was funny.

Yesterday a 2 man crew was sent out on a job from a certain business...

Crew member Tyler thought it was funny to call crew member Odus "sweetcheeks" and did so for most all of the trip to the job and some more after arrival...

After a time Odus started giving Tyler some of his own, and after just a little while Tyler called the boss and "told on" Odus.....

Funny how things work....

Ah man, I wasn't sure because I was reading your post where it looked like a quote was screwed up. My apologies for any errant accusations. About your car, I like the coupe. Your color is the original color of my 65 fb. At one point, I was going to repaint my car that color. Besides, it's a first gen mustang. Kinda hard not to like. For the record, what I lack tolerance for is threads with no real information and repeat threads. It greatly diminishes the quality of the forum. It makes harder to find very specific technical information. It wastes my time.

One more thing, I understand taking on a previous owners vision. My very first car, a 65 coupe, had aftermarket rear view mirrors mounted on the fenders. I was 16, broke and there was no such thing as reproduction parts. Talk about hoopdy.

Thanks Ocho. That was a great reply.
I was only messing around with Ratfink. I wasn't trying to stir up a bunch of muck.
In any case you are a good man.

What's worse is people who answer questions when they don't know the correct answer. Giving someone bad information is worse than giving them no answer at all. For example, see posts 9-14 in this thread:

Thats the biggest problem with forums. Its a lot of opinions and very few actual facts. People like to respond witout ever having the experience of what the questions was asking. They just repeat what heard or what they read.

I equate these forums to having a bunch of guys living on a street and there's always one ol' timer that has seen a lot and stuffed it away in the back recesses of his brain, then there are the other 20 that "know a guy who said".

Real life experience is great. There are guys that have banged girl after girl and then there are those that have just read Penthouse Forum.
