Default Random Questions

Well it has been awhile since I was last on here. Been pretty busy. Did some read ups and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So here are a couple questions for yall. I am at the point where I am getting finished up on the last of the things for my car.

1) Is there a recommended type of paint and sealer for interior panels? I would like them to be black but do not wish to purchase new panels. Panels being the areas around the rear seats and the top parts of the driver and passenger doors.

2) Can I buff this out of the chrome or must I replace it?Random Questions-dscn0153.jpg

3) Is this spot ok to ground something, it is metal.?

Thank you

When I did my doors I just used the interior spray can. I needed original color so I was limited on product choice. I scuffed them up with Scotch Brite because I did not want to use sandpaper, which can take off the texture. They have been fine but they don't see a lot of use either.

What color are they now? If you are coating soft vinyl, you can use the same paint as the steel parts, but a soft prep spray is required. Scotchbrite is great, but make sure it's fine, and break it on a junk part before using it to avoid scratches.

The boomerang is plated zinc metal. Polish with Brasso and soft cotton. If that doesn't do the job, you'll need to replace or replate.

3) Is this spot ok to ground something, it is metal.?
Sure, that's steel-on-steel, direct to the chassis.

Thank you. I will give it a try and see how it turns out sometime next week hopefully.
Brasso and soft cotton. Check. Thanks 2+2.
