Small wheel base?

frdnut, you had a bad experience with a 4.5 backspacing? i spoke to specialtywheels and asked him about a 5" backspacing and he said he's not a fan bc it brings the wheel close to the leaf springs. i made up my mind and want to run a 15x8 rim so i can run 255/60, if i can run 275/60 without rolling the fenders i would do that too. what do you suggest?
