i used House of Kolor(HOK) on my Fox...its a Meteor Maroon base with an Apple Red Kandy i actually did this for 100$ but i had the color given to me all i had to do was buy the clear....and i sprayed it for free fity

But doesn't it cost way more than that if you have to buy all the tools?

my painter is sayin to stay away from candys if its gonna be in the sun alot

House of Kolor has/had a program you could put your car into and toss all kinds of ideas and color changes at. I did a mediocre search a year or 2 ago, but wasn't interested enough to really dig. This might help you out.

paint sprayers are pretty cheap, i bought my HVLP for 45$, but of course i already had a compressor.

This is stock Candy Apple Red for a 1967 mustang, which should be the same for 66+ mustangs.
