Question 5 Lug Conversion?

Since I am going to be rebuilding my front suspension this winter I have to ask what does it take to convert from a 4 lug to 5 Lug? I know I would have to do the rear end as well and need new brakes and rims, but what else?

www.discbrakeswap.com for the brakes and then you need the correct steering parts and thats it

and for the rear you need a v8 axle

Not sure yet if I want to spend the money but seems like there are so many more rim choices for 5 lug compared to 4 lugs, unless you know of some good looking 4 lug rims.

Biggest change imo is V-8 spindles, followed by some form of V-8 brakes, hubs, tie rod, ends, idler, maybe a few other things I might have forgotten.

When we swapped we bought a pair of used spindles (I think your only choice) and new aftermarket everything else.

It was NOT a hard or really involved procedure, pretty straight forward.

i got the whole lot from discbrakeswap. spindles, brakes, everything including V8 steering parts. they have everything to cover I6 to V8 conversion if that's what you're after (at least the front parts). rear axle I don't know.
