Default Drop Spindle for 65 Mustang?

I need to drop my front end by a couple inches at least. From what I've read, the simplest/cheapest way is to cut a bit off the springs. I've also read a bit about a drop spindle, but the only ones I've found online are $500+.

So, anyone got ideas for cheap/easy/safe ways to lower the front end without shelling out serious coin?

Buy drop springs or cut the spring is your best bet,But once you lower it a Shelby drop is kinda a must but its cheap to do.

Right, I should have mentioned I'm going to do the Shelby UCA drop, although I'm not expecting that to drop the front much. I've got a mechanic that's telling me the drop spindle is the way to go. Just wondering what people here thought.
