Plus the stock drums are tiny on the inline 6 next to the v8 drums.Throwing a v8 in a inline 6 car and changing nothing else is a death trap.

That reminds of all the times when people approach me, "What year is your mustang - a 1963 [or earlier]?" The same people are usually rather confident about their guess.

Hmm. I haven't noticed ANY old Mustangs "cheap" on this end of the country. I expect people who claim to own Brabus's have different perspective on what is cheap than I do.
Andrew above guesstimated about $3000 to change one over to a V8. I'd have to triple that estimate. First because you don't seem to be aware that Ford does not sell and has not to my knowlege ever sold a "350" engine in anything. Secondly, any bit of research at all will tell you that old six cylinder Mustang suspensions, brakes, and drivetrains need to be upgraded to work well and safely with a V8 swap. Period. Third, you joined a specifically Ford forum and chose to interact on it with a username that denigrates car brands that are not German.
Maybe more like $12K.

That 3k was just for the suspension and rear end add in a engine and trans it can push 6k plus real easy.

I don't think the OP was being malicious, but yeah, he does rub the wrong way.

There is a conversion price, and a huge range of prices ranging from cheap to not cheap at all depending if a person buys used parts well, or goes all "new and improved". It is not out of the question for someone to be able to buy the right parts car for less than $1,000 and not spend much more by doing his or her own work.
