Default cowl?

So i just noticed today my passenger side carpet is soaked with water. I can't tell where it is coming frommy vent window weatherstrip is in bad shape but theres also water under the heater core area, however that is just over a year old. It has been raining here for 3 days now.

Could be the windshield gasket leaking, mine has a new cowl and does this, you have to look very close at the gasket to tell that its leaking. So i would check that over.

I bet its leaky seam sealant. This stuff was used to seal the body weld seams to prevent water from leaking in but over time is cracks and begins to leak.

An easy test is to pour water along the seam between the very back of the fender and bottom of the window trim (right where the fender makes a nice radius at least on the 66) Water should leak in almost instantly depending on how bad it is i guess.

The fix is easy just requires removing the fender, some scraping, painting and new 3m seam sealant.
