Default Looking for a 2 sheave WP pulley

As the title says, I need a WP pulley with 2 sheaves. My current one is ~5-7/8" diameter and 3" deep. I have found some that are 2.5" deep, but that won't work for me. None of the other ads I've seen mention the depth.

Does anyone know what pulley I need?

The 65-69 2-sheave water pump pulley is available in a pretty good repro.

I can find tons of 2 sheave pulleys, but I can't find out how deep they are. The one's John's Mustang Parts (my local supplier) have are only 2.5" deep and won't work with my alternator. I don't want to do the "order - test - return" dance for the next 4 months trying to find one that works.

GN has 2 listed in their catalog, but they are out of stock on both so the woman couldn't measure them for me.

I took the 1 sheave pulley I have now off last night and measured it better, it is 5-7/8" diameter and 2-7/8" deep.

The deep Pulleys are always the 70 up pulleys, the shorter early, generally 65-69.

The 2 Groove deep pulley (Actually 2 15/16) is a not a eazy to find piece-About all the deep WP pulleys are single groove.

Call me, I have one.

That was my next question for him, what damper & pulley did he have.

The "magic pulley" that people are constantly asking about exists, for installing on 70-up engines yet use 65-69 water pump, power steering, etc. It's an aftermarket piece that's made as a conversion part. I haven't used it yet, so I cant comment on belt sizes, etc.

BTW, nice talking to you earlier.

I think Chockostang is gonna be able to hook me up. Oddly, he has one from a '74 V8 II that fits the bill. There's nothing unusual on my engine: '68 302 block, '66 heads, stock dampener, stock crank pulley and stock mounting brackets. I'm running Vintage A/C though and I want to get rid of the idler pulley and use the adjustability of the compressor mount that comes with the system.

I have a 2 groove w/p pulley that came off my H-code 69 Mach with air if the need arises, should fit the bill.
