Have any of you guys had any problems installing a ford aod in a 65 we seem to be hitting in the trans hump and we are stuck

 

What x member are you using? Mine went it without a problem using a xmember from dark horse (well...no problem other than a minor reposition of the bolt bracket on the x member to actually allow us to bolt in the tranny mount )

 

i got a new cross member thats not really the problem...i ground down some of the tunnel to give us room to make it fit...now i just cant get the damn torque converter to accept the shaft in the motor...pain in my *** this has been...and without a lift makes it lots of fun
