Default 67 A/C question

My car is a 170 that was originally equipped with A/C. The compressor is out, but I have it (original).

The whole system needs to be redone.

Are there conversion "kits" for R134a specifically for Mustang?

Any advice on this is appreciated.

Its a 200 I6, 170 was 65 only. And yes there are conversions, but I don't know of one for an I6. You will most likely just have to buy everything instead of getting a kit.

Thanks. Shows you what I know, this is my first Mustang.

I traded a 73 Eldo Conv for it at a car show a couple weeks ago (Goodguys at Texas Motor Speedway).

The A/C is at the end of my mechanicals list, just starting to research.

Absolutely you can get 6 cylinder AC kits. I have seen them in the Glazier/Nolan catalog.

Yeah my 67 started out with an I6, I maxed it out mod wise with my budget and then swapped a 302 in.

I want to say you don't have to change the condenser, but you will need a compressor adapter, new drier, and new hoses. Then of course the sanden compressor.
