Is itt possible to put a 2010 Gt engine inside a 67? Do anyone have the dimensions on the 2010 GT engine (LxHxW)

 

2010 was the 4.6 not the 5.0

Yes, there is a guy on another forum putting a new boss engine in a 67 vert.

 

way to much work for it to be worth it, plus a new boss engine costs anywhere from 6-8k depending on how much power you want. i would rather just build a 302.

 

It's entirely possible. although there's a lot of factors to look at while you're getting ready for the transplant. Will the motor mount points on the engine line up with the frame? Since the newer motors are made to fit in a car with rack and pinion steering, will your older steering setup clear certain areas of the motor? What kind of trans are you using and what do you have to do to mate it with your drive shaft and rear end?

There are a lot of other variables to consider as well, but I'd simply look toward getting a wrecked donor car to get whatever you need out of. That way you don't have to worry about scrambling to get the small stuff you need to piece the big stuff together.

 

Its a brand new designed engine wait 5 years before thinking about one.The reason i say that is let them work the bugs out before you get one the new 5.0 already has problems with the number 8 cylinder going lean.
