What kind of tachometer was it?

>.> this may come off as dumb, but maybe just take a video of the engine shaking. so that we can see the severity of the problem.

It was a harbor freight tachometer, about $40. I had it set for 8 cylinders when I tried on my Mustang and 4 when I tried on the Golf.

I will try to post a video tomorrow of the shaking. It's not a very violent shake but I'm pretty sure this engine should run smooth.

Thanks

30$ autozone tach, fit in the clock/tach spot with some trimming.

Very nice. I'd like to do that some day. But for now I just want to get this engine running properly. That sounds like another little project for the future. Good job MustangFTW

Their water temp gauge fits even better, actually slides right in. My tach from Sunpro I mounted on the steering column.

That's where I had mine, it's easier to see then most people would think.

Yeah the only problem is that I have the older style dash. I didn't even realize it earlier.
