Default T5 CONVERSION QUESTION

Hello everyone I've got a 65 mustang with a 302 and a T10 sideloader and I
want to change it over to a T5. Ive got pretty much everything to install
except for the bellhousing. I want to use the housing off of a 5.0 but I haven't
gotten it because i wasn't sure if i would have to change the clutch and
flywheel. I know that the flywheel is 28oz on mine verses 50 on the latemodel
,and the pressure plate bolt patterns are different. Would I have to source a
28oz flywheel with the 5.0 pressure plate bolt pattern? or could i just use my
existing clutch and flywheel but just change the clutch release lever? I
would really appreciate the input.

You just change the bellhousing and clutch release lever.

Are you going with a cable or hydraulic setup? Or keeping the original clutch fork and using a conversion?

If you're keeping the stock z-bar setup, all you'll need is a spacer block to attach the release lever.

True- with the correct T5 spacer block, the release lever you have will do the job.
