As far as finding a place to get it worked on, I HAVE to believe that a few of your local marine buddies around base have some classics/mustangs. Just figure out where they go to get their cars worked on. i can speak highly of epic motorsports and force-fed performance, but they generally deal with subarus/evos. Just ask around. You'll find a good shop.
I would like to rebuild the engine myself. The only reason I don't want a local place is because almost every shop near the base will rip you off. Thank you for kind words its really appreciated.

I'm looking at engines built by pheonixengine does anyone know anything about this company? There prices seem good for the 302 turnkey I want. C3000-4000 is my price range all others I've seen are 6000+
