Default Steering wheel shifter?

has anyone tried MasterShift or one of these types of shifters on their Mustang? Thoughts on the subject?
I never really thought about it till i saw it on a video and now has me intrigued. It would provide tons of space for a custom console

I love it. I am going to call tomorrow and see how much it would cost to do it. I have a feeling it will be really expensive though. I thinking probably $5k?

looking at the store it'll probably be more like $2500. $1950 for the elec. controller to fit over your stock shift location, $70 for a BASE paddle shift assembly, another $100 for gear selector display. I figured $2500 total in case I missed anything small, but that looks like the gist of it to set it up. REALLY cool though.

Wow, I thought typewriter shifting was something out of the 50's Edsels etc. I guess everything comes back if you wait long enough. Interesting that it also works with manual transmissions, though.

Some of the dodges and desotos in the 60s had the push button on the dash too.
