Maybe you would know this question too...

There is a male spade connection on the ignition switch that sticks out after the actual plug is hooked up. I found a female that fits it that has two lavender wires hooked to it. That is the only logical plug to fit it, and I have it hooked up with no issues.

My question is why isn't it on any diagrams? I cant find it anywhere!

ford pretty much used one harness for every car....you dont want to fry something just randomly hooking up wires

Unless your car is decked out with every available factory option, including those that Ford even considered, there WILL be loose ends. This is even more true on later model cars.

Good point, I will unplug it until I KNOW what it is for.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on 67-8 mustangs compared to the 64-5-6.

The diagrams only show vague wiring, at least the ones I found. the link you provided was good, but still inaccurate to my setup for some reason.

I always seem to forget about that! I do have several "OPEN" connections.

The stang came with the headliner already done, without a space for a light! It should be universal in all mustangs right, I should be able to feel for the mounting spot and cut my way in and add one, no?
