Why is this gap so wide?

Default Why is this gap so wide?

Is there anything missing here? This gap is not that wide on the other side.

That MIGHT be an "aftermarket parts gap",,,,

Check everything out and make sure nothing is holding the dash in a bad position, other than that, you may have to open the dash up some, (by carefully pulling it into place as it is screwed down) or you may have to "recenter" the dash to make the gaps equal on each side, and less obvious on the drivers side.
