Default New Lower door window stops too short?

So I've taken the door apart to replace the window felts. To do that I had to remove the lower window stop. I got the new one in after lubing up window parts etc, but the window stop I got from MU is about 1/2 inch too short, allowing the window to go down too far, which will cause the chrome trim on top of the glass to destroy the new rubber piece I just installed.
Anyone else have this problem? I'm gonna call MU, but was just wondering if anyone had run into this and had a solution. Thanks.

We use the ones from Scott Drake and they are fine.

Here is a picture of the lower front window bumper on my car. I can't find anyone who sells one the right size to match my original. Why would it be so different?
