Nothing... that ain't a Load-O-Matic except....

I think MSD might make a direct fit distributor, but it ain't cheap... I want to say 325 or 350....

Classic Inlines mades a DSII that will fit the 1/4". It cost $260 for just the distributor though.


However from what I am reading only the 144 and 170 I6s had the 1/4" drive.

You might be right...

When I was surfing for the situation with my engine, I was only looking at 144/170 engines......

ya 200 and above can use the duraspark II there is a how too on classicinlines site you can do it on the cheap very easy. and on the plus side you may gain a couple of mpg because the duraspark is a electronic ignition so no having to worry about points wearing out on you.
