Default Problems with Tuff Stuff water pumps???

Anyone here have a problem with them? I tried 2 pulleys and there seems to be a wobble in the pump. I have another coming from Summit under warranty. The old setup on the other 302 didn't wobble. The pulley off of that does and a brand new one I purchased a while ago does also. Just wanted a sanity check.

Who makes those? Why not get a new one from your local parts store? ASC/Airtex (branded as MasterPro) pumps can be had from any O'Reillys and come with a lifetime warranty. Napa's Gates pumps aren't half bad either, although Gates doesn't actually make them.

Ahhhhh I don't know. I ordered a bunch of stuff for this engine rebuild and the water pump was on the list. There are no O'Reillys in this neck of the woods. Advance, Autozone and a NAPA a bit away. I am still not ruling out buying another from NAPA.
Hopefully the new one from Summit runs true. It does work fine. Engine stabilizes at 185, so no complaints with that.

Well, that's a start. Personally, I went with an aluminum Weiand high-flow water pump. Costs a little more, but I wanted the aluminum for weight savings.

I've used the napa pumps on three cars now and all worked great. I think they are good to go.
