Default What Size...

are the water lines that go and from from the engine block to the heater core on a 72 with 351C 2v? It appears that mine were replaced at one point and the wrong ones were put in. I do not like where there run across the top of the Valve covers and want to re-route them. Since I have started replacing hoses in theengine bay with braided, I want to go that way with these. I need to make sure I get the right size the first time because as you know that stuff isn't cheap. I want to see if any vendors at Fall Carlisle sell the hose by the foot to save a bit.

Thanks

The rubber ones are 5/8" hoses. I don't know about the braided ones. As far as routing, I really don't know because I can't visualize your engine bay. Maybe run them over to or near the shcok towers then along the inner fender to the heater?

Thanks Soaring,

I have actually been researching the routing by checking out similar stangs at car shows, and I am most likely going to route over to and along the passenger side shock tower.
