My son and I took a ride to the local automitve paint shop (I needed some primer and metal prep). Anyway the lady behind the counter and got to chatting and she mentioned this website. Thoughht it might be helpful so I'm passing it on.

It's bad, but not as bad as it looks. The quarter hade to come off and the rocker because the car was hit. I straightened out the body and I'm waiting on my door from colorado mustang ($450 and he promised me a decent door, I heard really bad things about shells and re-skinning from Dan at Colorado). Once I hang the door I can weld on the quarter which will also have the post, Hopefully I'll get that welded to the quarter this weekend then get it all lined up.

I approach projects be it a car or business adventure or anything with the attitude if it's going to get done you might as well do it right and chasing the rust and repairing the parts that need to be repaired will give me a car that I'll be driving for 40 years (hopefully).

I'm sure the work will be slow, with a wife and family and a business I don't alwasy have a ton of time, but it's a labor of love. This has been my favorite car since I first saw it, I own one and I'm going to enjoy every minute of working on it.

So thanks for the encouragement and hang on for the bumpy ride!!!
