I havent messed with a emissions filler hose before but is there a difference in the tanks or an AZ law that wont let you use a non emissions filler?

its the shape of the hose. larger on one end and smaller on the other, like in the picture.

I think he's asking why don't you ditch the emissions setup and go with the standard stuff?

well if some one know what im asking that would of responded. it seems that the 70 mustang emissions tanks had a larger tank neck than the other ones. thats why the hose has a large end and a small end, where as the other tanks just have the same size for the filler and tank neck.

I think the alternate question is, why not ditch all the emissions stuff and go with the standard setup?

Alternately, you could get a used one here-

again, the neck coming out of the tank is large. thats why the hose has a large end and a small end. i know what your saying, buy another tank. im sure theres a easier way, like using a large hose and up sizing the filler tube neck. gee guess i figured it out. just thought some one might make the hose type i have.

Again, I gave you a link to buy the hose you desire. It's not new, of course, no one makes them. Probably never will.
