Is this the steering link i need to convert my 66 from the factory power steering to manual? is there any other part i need? i heard that i also need a tie rod end but im not sure

Yes, this will change your Power Steering to Manual.

Are the Drivers side Tie Rods different?? Yes. The Drivers side are different, but you can "Rig" the Power Steering to fit. To do it Right, put in the correct 713/2004s/336R Tie rod.

Because its American made ( last I heard you should confirm this with CJ)

I am also uncertain about tie rod ends. I know they are different but the guy at CJ said the PS ones would fit. IIRC Rmodle said they would not and I would need inner tie rod ends...

this is for the outer, Do i need to get the inner as well? Im a little confused.

Yes you will need inner and outer just on the drivers side. You will also need the adjusting sleeve on the drivers side. The one above is the right one for drivers and passangers outer on manual steering. And the steering link is the right one also.

I have herd the outer tie rod is the same for power and manual on drivers side. Think the power steering one is a bit shorter and you can cut it to add power steering. Im not 100% tho, for 20 dollars its not worth it to find out, i would just get the outer.
